When ordering fabric, you must specify either:
- Full rolls
- Exact yardage (extra fee)
Full rolls have no extra cost attached. Exact yardage does have an extra fee attached (see product page.)
If you want us to send you exactly a certain number of yards, choose this option when checking out.
Please note that there is an additional fee applied when this option is selected.
In addition, we may send you fabric pieces as small as 4 yards depending on your order IF your order exceeds 1 roll in length.
For example, if you want exactly 14 linear yards of fabric, enter 14 in quantity field and select "Exact Yards" option (note the extra fee.) We will send you a single 14 yard piece.
However, if you want 38 linear yards exactly, we may have to send you a 33 yard and 5 yard piece.
Please be aware of these when ordering exact yards.
If you select the full rolls option, we will send the nearest approximate quantity of full rolls, rounded up. We have to round because each roll from manufacturers are different lengths, typically within a limited range.
Best practice is to find the "Average Roll Length" for the fabric you want to order, (available in the 'Additional Info' tab on the product page.) Then, just multiply the Average Roll Length specified by the number of rolls you want.
For example, if you want to order three rolls of a fabric, and that fabric's Average Roll Length is 33 linear yards, you would order 99 linear yards. Then, select the "Full Rolls" order option. This will clearly indicate to us how many full rolls to send.
Important to note, after you've placed your order for Full Rolls, we will modify your invoice to reflect the actual total amount of material sent, not the initial quantity you ordered. So if you order 99 lin. yards, and 3 rolls comes to 102 lin. yards, we will bill you for 102 lin. yards.
